I had to wait for the price to drop, so I didn't get it until about a week before Easter. However, once the price dropped, I felt it was an excellent value. Fun design, good brightness.NOTE: this unit has a dimmer switch on the cord. I don't need that feature, and it added a step for turning on the light. Normally, I can turn these kinds of signs on and off by clicking the button on a Christmas-tree foot switch extension cord. Unfortunately, the presence of the dimmer switch meant I not only had to turn the power on, but I had to fish the cord out from behind the couch to turn on the cord switch. Not the most convenient design. I don't see a need for a dimmer using it as a window decoration, YMMV.
