If you like cartoon cats, you'll like this.Like all d��cor of this type, it's not really a neon light, it's a string of LED lamps. Better, to be sure. I'm only mentioning it because a dairy industry group is trying to prevent almond, oat and soy milk makers from referring to their products as "milk."This one does a better job of diffusing the light than any other that I've seen. There is a soft coating over the lights that I'm guessing is what is doing it.My only gripe, like all of the others that I've seen, is that it needs some sort of dimmer. As it is, it's way to bright for use as a night light. There are dimmers available; for this price it should have been included. (It does have an in-line switch.) On the other hand, true neon lights can't be dimmed at all. (Well, they can, but not easily or over a wide range.) If you've ever dealt with a true neon light, you'll probably agree, this is better.So, works well, too bright, better than a true neon light... am I forgetting anything? Oh yeah. It's cute. Really Cute.
